Non-Invasive Current Clamp

‘Non-invasive’ technology provides a retro-fit solution for data centres to monitor and manage power consumption without the need for downtime.

The CL-Amp enables ‘non invasive’ real-time monitoring of current for any device or power strip up to 32A, by simply placing the device over the power cable and twisting to lock into place.

The CL-Amp conforms to international electrical and EMC standards, and is a cost efficient means of monitoring power locally and remotely using a NW controller without the need to schedule power downtime.

Typical Solution

The CL-Amp increases visibility of power demand, providing greater control in the ability to identify available capacity, make informed decisions and drive down costs.

Additionally, optional software enables snmp polling and  data capture, providing detailed management information and reports for capacity planning and trend analysis. 

A choice of locking –ring collar sizes are provided to suit up to 32A cable sizes.
